Sprinkle your new year with positive intentions

I so love to start the New Year with a good clear-out, both emotionally and physically … it sets the tone for creating space to allow abundance to flow unhindered into my world over the coming months, vibrant rainbow beams of light focusing on joyful adventures.

Many of you will know that I am a huge fan of transforming our world while playing, so imagine how thrilled I was when Goddess Leonie launched her 2012 Creating Your Goddess Year Planner and Workbook in early December.  Over the Christmas period, I settled down with a cup of tea, my fairy journal and the Creating Your Goddess workbook/planner and set myself the target of shimmering into the New Year, sparkling and full of vibrant energy and joyfull goals in mind.

So many of us spend the beginning of a new year picking holes in our experiences of the previous year, nitpicking over the negatives rather than celebrating and shining the light on the positives.  For me, 2011 was a year of real highs and tremendous lows: I qualified as an ARTbundance Coach early in the year, and then the very next day I discovered a lump … and so began a year-long process of moving through surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy to deal with an aggressive breast tumour.  Even this intense journey, filled with moments of terror and exhausting medical interventions, has shown how truly blessed my life is and opened me up to creative pursuits … and so this part of Goddess Leonie’s workbook really got me to reflect on those aspects!

Of course, with such a jam-packed-with-fabulous-gifties-to-work-with-workbook, I’m not even halfway through it yet!  I have had so much fun working through the colourful pages and especially loved the ’100 things to do’, ‘Gorgeous Goddess Goals’ and ‘Ritual Days’ exercises – now I am busy working on planning my creative, soulful retreat for later this year, hurrah!!!
